it's completely ridiculous to me that bad movies like transformers gross like they gross,and theN you have x-men movies who don't gross ass much,and ofc THERE is such an amazing difference in how they're received by the critics

In Marvel Cinematic Universe, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch won't be mentioned as mutant, they aren't related to any X-Men/mutant characters.

I hope Fox lets Marvel use Magento's name as a throwaway line in one of their movies. Doesn't even have to be his codename, a throwaway reference to "Erik Lehnsherr" or "Max Eisenhardt" would be just as good.

They have the perfect opportunity to do 2-3 more movies with the new cast. If they won't, I think the reboot won't happen for many years (just like the time between The Last Stand and First Class).

Too late. It's already scheduled in 2017, a year after Apocalypse.
Estimate for the weekend here in the US is $32,600,000, a drop of over 64% which is pretty poor. Brings the total US takings to just over $162M so the original forecast of $290M domestically is next to impossible. Around $200-210M looks most likely.
No word on the international weekend yet, but it'll top $450M WW after the weekend easily.
