People who disagree should at least show some modicum of tolerance, compassion and at least a degree of knowledge on the subject before pressing submit on some of these comments even if for their own sake

If you're born with a disorder where you're born with the wrong gender, that's much more medically acceptable to pay for than someone's laser eye surgery.
Also, I hope none of you complaining about "society paying for this" never went to public school or got a student grant because, guess what, everyone else paid for your education.
i'm still trying to figure out why some of you are so against this. this is a huge step for LGBT community and you're worried about wearing glasses? not everything will be done over night, as it took decades for this ban to be uplifted.
