I think a few of them are generally just posted by people who clicked the wrong section (they are side-by-side, after all) but the rest... They probably think their thread is less likely get closed if it's in the Lounge.
ugh, i guess. even though the latter isn't really true. flamebait IS flamebait.
but it's SO annoying, mixing sections up like that. i don't know why but it really throws me off when people do that

I'm not certain because I wasn't around at this time but I think that before base existed those types of threads were supposed to be posted in lounge so if it's an older member posting those threads in the lounge they may just genuinely be confused about where the right place to post it is.

That's because they're comfortable with their sexuality and not concerned about seeming 'too gay' unlike gay guys who try to keep their flamboyance in check in order to fit in a lot of the time
