Tbh though.. I would buy any Madonna album for that price. I looked ha up and checked it and noticed it was a great steal. Wish some of her classics were a bit cheaper (I was planning on buying True Blue actually) as I only had limited funs atm.

That photoshoot wit KP is also probably helping it too it but for me it was just because I was genuinely curious! I also have to start going through tracks for that Madonna rate I am doing.

It's been discounted for quite some time.

It's only re entered the charts since the talk of her new album began.

It's a fact. I'm not sure why you're trying to say the album has entered the chart because it's discounted when it has been that price for more than 12 months now.

I mean, it's not only a fact as to why it has charted now, it's also common sense.

If it sold 3,000 copies in January and charted and ranked in the top 200 albums, then ranking in the top 300 albums hardly means anything. So what if 3,000 people bought it? How is that even remotely reflective of how the public will react to her new music? 3,000 people is around the size of ATRL.

Are you aware of how small the number 3,000 is compared to how many copies mainstream acts sell? I can't make that anymore clearer.

To allow people to Judge based on respective chart positions where Madonna's 24 year old album is charting based on the current pop girls.

In a low sales climate, albums released last year aren't going to keep selling hundreds of thousands of copies many months after release. Neither of those albums are compilation albums, which represent the greatest, timeless hits.

I'm actually shocked that you're trying to extrapolate 3,000 people to pass off the general public's anticipation of Madonna's new album when she hasn't trended on any social media format. The number of copies sold IS relevant. Ugh...

Yes, it does make sense. ARTPOP is not a greatest hits album nor is it a timeless album. As I said before timeless albums will always sell. Discounting them will help with sales too. I also referenced Thriller.

1. We don't know the number of copies. The 3 k figure was an estime.
2. She has trended on social media.

If there is a rumour and then an album charts the number of sales is irrelevant because as i explained to you, a portion of those people engaging in hype purchase the album.

It's basic marketing and Iv'e explained it to you. It's going around in cicrles. If you don't want to accept it, that's totally fine. You certainly don't have to. But I fail to see the purpose of explaining the same thing it different ways to each other.
