Well, at the time, you mostly had 1D avatars, I think. And there are (supposedly ) plenty of heterosexual 1D fans, so I never really thought much of it.
And yes, your lack of lingo usage certainly helped contribute to it.
When I'm not using Gaga avatars, that is.
