If it was deleted before it gets reported then it's unlikely a mod would notice unless they happened to be scrolling through a thread and hit the "show deleted post" button.
If you want to avoid that happening, editing and blanking your post before deleting it does the trick.

Tbh you're more likely to get WPs for already posted warnable posts in a newly closed thread than for deleted post unless, like you said, the mod is specifically looking for deleted post.
