In early 2014 a producer was looking for songs for Clarkson. The songs were supposed to be "positive, concept-driven songs with big melodies and soulful songs in the vein of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill (1998).
I chose Adele because it will be easier to embody her style and she's already poetic.
