I do get you. But I think this song has umph for both radio and performances.. It's really insanely catchy. Even if you don't like the song, you'll find yourself singing those "dududududududus" without even realising

Umbrella also was basically a basic song, relying on the "ela ela ela", just like Your Love selling point is the Du du du du.
Nicole always releases diverse singles, so just sit back and maybe you liek single #2

The chorus is kind of lazy, but sounds alright. Definitely not The Dream's/Tricky's A-game though.
