In some ways I think there is NO WAY she can be performing. a) its too late to perform "Blackout" material and too early to promote the new record b) she is still recovering c) nothing official has surfaced about the possibility
But then I think she MUST be performing because a) its almost 100% she will appear at the awards b) noone would want to release an album when every press article describes her bombing at her last award show performance and c) ITS BRITNEY BITCH!
I dont know what to think, but Im excited about the VMAs. Well done MTV!!

I'm not that much of a fan, so correct me if I'm wrong on some of this:
1) She has been hard at work on her new album
2) It's been said that the record could be ready by the end of the year
So what I'm getting at is perhaps Britney will perform at the VMA's (new material) and, I know it's a long shot, but it is possible that she could pull a Radiohead/Raconteurs/Bloc Party and release her new album the week after the VMA's.
. I'm sad now.
