My friends and I were weighing up whether to watch this or Godzilla yesterday. We opted for Godzilla but I wish so damn much that we saw this instead

i literally grabbed my chest when i saw storm die then after i saw they saved the future and bonus Jean came back i was so excited i'm so excited i hope there is more of the original X-men now

I'm bald, girls. Like, every follicle of hair has been snatched from my head. I was supposed to go and see the last show, which was at 10:20, but I cracked and went for an earlier show.

Anyway, it was a great film. I have no qualms. Storm slayed her parts like no other. Just amazing all around. The acting was on point.
Also, those sentinels were a mess. Like girl, killing up everybody. I knew Storm was gonna get clocked but I didn't expect Iceman & Colossus to get clocked, too.

I also feel that it wasn't as Wolverine centric as I thought it would be. It also had a lot of good plot & story which I loved.

It's funny you say that because I actually thought Mystique, Professor X & Magneto were the stars of the movie. Wolverine's scenes seemed to be more of a bother than lead the story forward (like the Stryker flashback or the sleeping with the boss's daughter )

And YASSS! One of the BIGGEST storylines are gonna be EPIC under the direction of Bryan Singer! 2016 can NOT come soon enough

He'll have the original characters (Cyclops, Jean and Storm) but will probably re-cast them

Iceman is one of my favorite X-Men, and watching him die TWICE killed me

My experience was kinda similar. My show was at 12:55 but couldn't resist going in earlier so I entered at 12 just when the EPIC Future Sequence was on so I had to hide in the comfort room and blasted my music to the max for a good 20 minutes. I had to go to my seat after that coz I was running out so I was forced to watch the ending, credits and surprise scene in advance

MTE about Wolverine, shouldn't have judged Singer.

For me, he had the most emotional scene where he was talking with his future self (the LEGEND, Patrick Stewart ). It brought tears to my eyes. And damn it does Patrick Stewart know how to deliver lines! His words of encouragement were so REAL! He truly embraces Professor X!

I was waiting for his tears to roll down the entire time he was speaking to the Old one lol but they didn't. He was so great. And I was waiting for Old Prof X to tell him, "You're afraid, I remember"
but nothing Guess it got cut or was just for the trailer

Storm's new iconic line, "No, but we can slow them down"

They'll probably film back-to-back. He has all but confirmed he'll be in Apocalypse and considering Mystique's Stryker is with him at the end of DOFP we may get a Mystique/Logan storyline
