Oh! Well what was your eye opening experience? I kinda thought the worst by the way you worded it tbh
Oh, i'm sorry!
I stopped by my church campus and met this lady who was looking for counsel so I started talking to her and she just went on to explain how she has been struggling financially living paycheck to paycheck and health wise. The whole conversation just helped me appreciate that i'm very fortunate and that sometimes I take it for granted.

Oh! We all need those moments every now and then to help keep us grounded and such. I'm glad you were able to talk that away from that conversation because a lot of people wouldn't have. That just shows the really good person you are, to me anyway.

I always try to take something from the experiences of other people, I think they can help us grow and maybe one day in the future we can apply that to our lives. Aww thank you, you're too kind

If only everyone were like you. Maybe they'd actually listen and stop making the same mistakes and such over and over again and apply these lessons to their lives. Everyone learns at their own rate though so can't complain.

You are right, we have to make the mistakes we make in order to learn sometimes. I wasn't the person i'am today before 2013 started, I was in a bad place and it wasn't until I made a very stupid mistake that I learned my lesson and became who i'am today.

Well you're in a better place now and that's al that truly matters. You learned and made the necessary changes to become better. That's all that life is about really. Striving to become the best person you can be which will help you excel in every other venture you go into. Myself on the other hand, that's a whole different story
Because "I never go to any of my sister's big career events" (according to my mom). I mean, I'm happy that her pictures are being hung in the gallery and everything, but why can't I be happy for her at home? Plus, she already paid for my ticket, so I can't even back out.
