i'm so fed up with this game though and i didn't even start properly yet first the serial key didn't work, then i find out i paid 20 dollars to add my own ****ing producers and song writers, and when i add them they all have -100% on creativity etc, and it's like...
but seriously how does metal and folk have more pre-made producers and songwriters than POP???? seriously????
Their speciality doesn't make difference at all. My pop artist just released an album full of songs with 100% quality. Don't overreact before even try the game properly.
I just had my first 5x platinum album in America. It only took 40 weeks and is sitting at 5.99 million worldwide (they're kind of local). And they've had 3 worldwide #1 singles from the album. It's in the top 10 all-time album list along with another artist of mine.
It definitely just comes down to the money you spend on advertising.
My old laptop is in repair so I cannot play MWR2 Rebirth yet. But I gave up on it, not when my flop artist who only had average marketing had higher first week sales than my main artist who had heavy marketing. I want to play it again and make a new label.
My artist Lady Gaga broke ALL records on the all time charts
Biggest selling single (12M), album (9M), highest album debut, highest single debut, longest charting album (128 weeks), 2x 9M singles in top 5, 5x 7M+ singles in top 10.
And this is ALL with her debut, The Fame
I released about 15 singles (all tracks were singles) and she sold about 70 Million records with only 1 album
Too bad the game is now glitching (can't write a new album) so i'll have to delete the file and start over
How is this possible? I promoted it in the US just as much as in all the other regions
Sometimes singles just flop in particular regions and no amount of promo can save it.
You can try to do a whole week of promo in the US, it might rise a bit higher.
