You have to understand that this is a
discussion board and when you make threads, you are opening it up for everyone to reply, whether they are in agreeance or not. This isn't like Tumblr or LiveJournal where you can just post your view on something and not be retaliated. This being said, creating a thread like "Racism against Asians overlooked?" is only inviting negativity. It was only a matter of time before people started coming in there and saying offensive stuff that would unarguably offend Asians among other people. Those types of subjects really are too sensitive for a MUSIC forum.

no one gets away with it. You should find some comfort in the fact that justice will be served and not try to extend things into more threads and make it worse. I mean- I didn't close the thread (obviously) but that's my point-of-view on the subject and why I agree with all race threads being closed.
Also, not to continue a discussion in HQ, but the OP was filled with false accusations. NO acts of racism are simply overlooked on here; it's just that we have a bigger black demographic than Asian, thus more people reacting to those jokes. Don't worry though, mods will deal with
any type of racism and hopefully no members are getting kicks out of them.
Again, this isn't me clarifying a mods decision because I don't know what the actual verdict was. Just my own opinion.

A certain mod is quick to dish me out a WP too for being disruptive. I guess I was since I made a thread about it, but I think we deserve a more fulfilling explanation on why it was closed
