i liked List but this is waay better as a first single. Its not ALL THAT but its good enough & i think it will be a hit on the R&B charts at least. I mean, if Ashanti's attrocious first single was a semi-hit i dont see why this cant be.

"The Way That I Love You" had an appeal to Urban radio and radio in general. This is really superior and it will confuse URBAN radio, it will be lucky to have a run as good as "Closer" and URBAN/RHYTHMIC, then on top of that it's Brandy, she has like no hype or interest, this isn't outta this world like it should have been.

It's getting a litte better with more listens, it was never bad but I expected MUCH more.

Epic knows what they're doing. This is an anthem. Remember how "No One" and "Umbrella" were received at first? Trust it'll get recognized, and if not..music is in trouble.

I'm not gonna doubt it, just saying what is more realistic to happen. It's starting to get a bit amazing.

I just know US radio really well, Brandy needs something in your face, a great song isn't gonna get her where she needs to be, she needs something EPIC. It feels like URBAN will reject her like they did Michelle and she will be left to either go Ne-Yo's route or take Michelle's exit.

Meh. US radio is the pits. I think it'll find success here, but i'm almost certain it will do well outside the US.

I wasn't expecting to like this, but I love it. Really fresh and hot sounding. The album artwork is a bit unfortunate though with the "y" that looks like an "i" and the beveled edges of the font... so 1997.

"Right Here (Departed)" is the uplifting first single off the R&B singer's new album, Human, due in the fall. "Departed" will not be ignored by radio. Then again...you did give "High Price" some of the most unfounded praise I've ever seen on ATRL. "High Price" is one of the shittiest, most un-friendly to radio songs I've ever heard. How do you expect "Departed" to confuse urban/rhytmic when "High Price" easily can do the same with those creepy ass vocals? Never mind.

So Tiearra I ask'; who left it up to you to decide what is radio friendly and what is not? Go listen to "High Price" a few more times, then report back here.

The Way I Love You is NOT as good as this, bottom line, so this should have no problem being a hit on the R&B charts.
