Yeah, from the beginning casual people have at least thought that Birthday sounded like a hit, but Unconditionally sounded boring and not in Katy's forte.

And unlike Birthday, Unconditionally didn't have the disadvantage of a video with such a bad reputation that it's still 5 million views behind its lyric video.
