I'd like a straight up great pop album that's cohesive, personal without being depressing, and songs that also have great joy. And ones that you can tell are well crafted and not demos with no backing vocals.
That's what i meant. I hope R8 sells over 5 million.
In order for this to occur:
The album needs to be well received by critics without being controversial, or super shocking in a turn off way(Rated R was acclaimed but risky to her fanbase at the time).
Needs at least 3 well executed singles and decent promo for each three.
Less Bad Girl Riri more mature Rihanna.
None of that is hard to do for her but I feel we will get some variation of those things

I'd love for her to go. It's a much funner award show than most so it'd be worth it for the gifs alone, plus if she had an urban single out (obviously she won't by then, just mean in general) it'd be a great platform to perform/launch it. What were people saying the cons were? I get people just not caring if she went or not but I can't think of it being detrimental in any way?
