I can't deal with articles saying Carrie's sold the most albums overall, when Kelly's Breakaway sold a few million more worldwide, alone, than Carrie's entire discography.
Basically. Carrie stans can keep their one local receipt, we'll take Kelly's other 429,983.

I almost never post in the base but in this random case I have to.
I was bopping the Kelly in the car and Maybe came on my playlist. That song is probably the single most authentic and heart wrenching thing Kelly has ever put out.
The lyrics, the slow build up, the adding of the drums at it's peak, it also just sits right in one of Kelly's sweetest parts of her range, just everything about this song is perfect and heart breaking.
It is the single best song in her discography and one of the most perfect, heart wrenching love songs I've ever heard that doesn't get nearly the praise it deserves. Like only Kelly stans can understand what this song does to me whenever I listen to it
Weird list. I wonder how they calculated the biggest songs. Maybe the longevity of the hot 100. Because Don't you wanna stay was a huge crossover hit. Went #1 on Country for three weeks, 2x platinum, went top 3 on AC + HAC and even top 50 on pop but it charted low on the Hot 100 because the sales and airplay were divided. Not to mention Don't You Wanna Stay is one of the biggest country collaboration in the history of the chart and of the biggest country hits that year. A much bigger hit than Catch my breath, walk away, never again and MKIA.
And Stronger was a bigger hit on the charts than Since U Been Gone in every freaking aspect.

I think this is my first post in this base thread, such a flop fan.
Just needed to say I'm getting EVERYTHING from My Life Would Suck Without You today.
Is her new album still due out later this year?

The funny thing is that she was fatter in 2009 when she wasn't pregnant. And she looked a lot prettier. Her face looks uncomfortable now. The pregnancy most be hard on her.
The question is: If she is serving urban/dance tracks on her new album, will she work on her weight? I don't mind if she's fat or not but lately she seems interested on her career since the GHC1 era
I've been getting so into the Breakaway era singles the past 2 weeks. I need new Kelly music but I know she isn't really in the position to record right now.
There hasn't been anything to suggest Urban on the next album.
But there was an interview or something, I can't find it, in which Kelly was talking about her next studio album and she said that there were going to be many different genres melting into each other, including urban. And we were thinking that her new album would be similar to Stronger when it comes to different genres.

Didn't their debut album told sold over 5 million copies worldwide? Kelly Clarkson hasn't seen that type of success since like 2004 and Rihanna's album sales aren't that much better.
