Emcee Sis. Sazare is not trolling. I think he genuinely loves Birthday. Its just that the video was no up to par
with the hype that he generated for himself. I think he was expecting a music video with sexy Katy filled with balloons and champagne and all kind of cake that would have helped the song skyrocket to the top of the charts. Not Katy crashing in to parties.
It is true that hype is subjective and it was not to par with Sazare's expectations

"She has not delivered on her hype" is just as subjective as saying "the video was bad." In my opinion, the video was bad and was not as good as it was made out to be and therefore did not measure up to hype. That's a subjective claim and of course it's built upon my subjective opinion of the video and of course you may disagree but that's a large part of the point of a pop music forum: to share our subjective opinions.

Sazare. There is also a problem with the hype that you speak of. Its that it was never made. Katy never said that it was going to be sexy. She said " It was the craziest thing I've ever done." and by the looks of it. She was right. Therefore she delivered
that hype that you speak of.
Although this is only my opinion.
