I know Australian's can be awful to their own sometimes. Love them one moment then drag them the next. Calling anybody remotely Australian their when they are successful.
I mean nobody gave two cents for Jackie Weaver even when Silver Linings Playbook comes out, not until she got awards buzz then media all flock to her claiming to be old mates
and Daniel Merryweather, when the local stations refused to play him claiming him to be irrelevant, until he found success in the UK THEN we claim him to be Australian and gave him an ARIA
People SLAMMED Kylie when she first started her singing career, then when she hit America people suddenly found the light.

Ugh don't get me started. More Jack Vidgens....just what we need  the judges are Delta, Mel B and the madden brothers.

SO true! The hypocrisy drives me mad. If I ever became successful and the country paid me dust until I made it, I'd tell y'all to go screw yourselves

"Heart Hypnotic" was amazing. Whatever happened with that? Wasn't it supposed to be the lead single for the 'Child Of The Universe' reissue / US release or something? I guess it never happened since it flopped. Such a shame.

My family loves kylie don't start, they say she's miles better than delta. Which she is.
And I'm waiting for queen Bonnie Anderson to release an album tbh.
Samantha Jade needs to hurry the **** up tbh.

Bonnie slays and can release another single in like July or something. "Raise The Bar" was a bop.
Samantha Jade has taken so long, it's ridiculous. I don't know if it's her or her label / team though, Sony seem to be more interested in milking Jessica Mauboy's latest release and kick-starting Dami's follow-up to "Alive" than spending time on Samantha. At this rate, Dami will have an album out before her. Three singles and still no album, Ricki-Lee teas. I bet she'll flop, which is such a shame, because she's easily the best winner of any Australian talent show, ever.
UP! slays tho. UP! > Soldier > Firestarter

but true that, Samantha was literally one of the only times i've thought that these talent shows has gotten it right. She deserves more, and even international success. Such a shame
