Actually I think Suburgatory should be picked up by TBS, along with Community. Along with TBS's original pick-up of Cougar Town, these shows together would bring in some ratings for their Tuesday primetime slots.

Eh, Cougar Town's most-watched episode this season still couldn't pull in a 1, and lost half of its lead-in (a Big Bang rerun). I don't think they would be clamoring to replicate that.

TBS needs to settle down on the re-runs though. I think they need more original programming every night of the week, but they probably don't have the budget for that. Hopefully they keep Cougar Town around for 1-2 more seasons and give it a nice finale. Ground Floor looks to be their most promising original series.

I never really stayed privy to the show or its ratings past the first season, I just remember it being a 'breakout hit' when it premiered. But you're right, with the demo it averaged throughout the season, a renewal would've been pretty far-fetched.

If you are a "retentionista" you could argue that Suburgatory had the best retention out of The Middle in the 8:30 time slot around 80%. And it went wrong Season 2 when it creatively took a wrong turn and never really recovered.

I'm a bit upset about Rake being cancelled but the views were ridiculously low. I'm a bit upset about Crisis but in reality I don't see this being more than a 1 season show.

As much as I hate to say it, FOX is a sinking ship. I believe the only network it may be besting is The CW, and barely at that therefore it's not looking good. Was Sleepy Hollow the only freshman show to get a 2nd season? I'm really not wanting to head over to TVbythenumbers to confirm but I'm almost positive it was.
