But NYC is now the safest big city in America and it's economy and population remains growing because people are attracted to safe metropolises. No one wants to start a business or move a family to a dangerous city.

new york was doing fine for years before transplants from ohio decided that brooklyn was the place to be and drove up the rents with their parents' money

also, just because they're in lower income parts of the city doesn't mean they're dangerous

I have family in chicago (south loop) so I know a bit about it seeing as I go there every four months.

And just seeing the successful turnaround of NYC from the dangerous 80s and 90s to now should be incentive enough

Why are you guys saying NYC has too much people as if Beijing and Tokyo don't habe plenty of people. Tokyo legits has to PAY people to push people in the metro cart.
