I'm a stan to the end but this... Is... Bad. The first verse is nice but that's it. It's boring and those fire scenes are ridiculous. The cheap/old style editing usually works for her, but it just makes the video look even more low budget and unprofessional.

I hope this doesn't tarnish the song for me

Really boring and disappointing. I literally burst out laughing when she showed up with those green screen flames.

She'll never top the Born to Die video, conceptually and visually, imo. Hope she does with the next video!

It's better than BJ video but still kinda boring. The Lagerfeld guy was fugly and unnecessary, should've been the beach bad boy. She looked hot in that rock princess look, it really does suit her. The SNL bit for which (US) critics put her in flames was funny (if it was meant as a jab).

Like someone posted before, the Chet Baker original video, it's not about the Lagerfeld guy and his ugliness.

The concept of the video is that the attraction of the girls isn't about the looks, the old man and the young boy at the beach are the same only the girls are different.

The attraction of them is their charisma not the good looking or age.
