We all saw SHINee's 2013, it wouldn't surprise me if that was true.
SNSD also said they're coming back again this year and then we have f(x)'s new single coming up soon too, so it might end up being a fairly even year for SM's roster. As in, it won't be ruled/filled by just one group.

EXO needs to focus on R&B if they're gonna do 1D rejected tracks like Run.
I don't mind pop but not songs that sound similar to another group.

Am I the only person who doesn't see the 1D resemblance with Run? SHINee are much more 1D catered than EXO, and even then I don't see it as a problem.

Run and 365 are very 1D esq 365 more so.
It just feels out of place when you have an album with 99% R&B then the sore thumb is placed.


More pop songs like Dream Girl would be fine if we're talking SHINee.
Something on that level but not exactly like it.

Originally I didn't really classify it as a 1D-inspired track but I understand why others do.
I'm in the same boat as you though, I don't care if other groups have tracks that sound like 1D as long as said-tracks remain a minority in the group's discography.

I think the fact you and I both came into the k-pop fandom as 1D stans has really helped us enjoy the 1D-esque tracks from other groups.
