This is my first time posting here and I love Lady Gaga.
I have a question about Alejandro. It is one of my all time favorite Gaga songs but I don't understand the meaning behind it. What is she talking about? who is alejandro?
I don't really understand the video either tbh. Who is in that coffin? What are the scenes on the beds for? Why is she laying in the bed and swallowing the pearls?
Can someone please help me? I LOVE the song but I really want to know what she is talking about.

OK guys, there is a website online called RateTheMusic. Basically, radio programmers always look through a wide array of sources to determine what songs are potential hits that will draw in more listeners. RateTheMusic is one of those sources, and it has been proven to work (when “Applause” topped the Top 40 survey, it helped it rebound and peak in the top 5; topping the Rhythmic survey also helped “Applause” go top 20 on that format.).
This week, “G.U.Y.” was added to the top 40 survey. Here are the steps on how you can help the song:
1. Sign up for an account on RateTheMusic.com (remember that this helps for radio stations in the US, so if you live outside the US, use an address from the US and an accurate ZIP code, to make your votes more believable)
2. Take the Top 40 weekly survey. For your votes to count, you must go through every single song and finish the survey. For every song, there are 3 survey sections. The first asks if the song is familiar (do you know it, basically). The second asks your opinion on the song. The third asks whether you are tired of hearing the song. When you get to “G.U.Y.”, enter that the song IS familiar, that you “like the song a lot”, and that you are NOT tired of hearing the song.
4. Spread the news. You can only complete the survey once a week, so it’s better to have multiple people completing it. Reblog the post on tumblr, tweet about the survey, tell your fellow fans on other social media platforms about the survey, etc.. It’ll all help to make “G.U.Y.” a hit.
You should base it on something more concrete. Like the other day I made a list of total weeks they spent in the UWC top 10 (both tracks and albums) in the past five years.

I'm so excited for the tour but tbqh I wish she would do a piano/ballad set like she usually does.
I remember slow dancing with my best friend when she sang You & I at the BTWB and it was honestly such a magical and sweet moment and I'm kinda sad knowing that there'll be nothing like that at this tour.

Same Apparently she planned on doing Brooklyn Nights but cut it until further notice. She should just do Dope with BTW acoustic and I'd be happy.
I'm on the fence about the show. On one hand, it easily looks like the most fun tour she will ever have.. but the absence of some songs just stings so much and I don't have a lot to see her with.
On the other hand, I can't imagine anything better than chanting the last chorus of Gypsy with her.. but she's nowhere near me in a 4 hour radius.

I live in the dead middle of the United States - Kansas City. Closest place is between Chicago, Denver, or Cleveland. All over five hours. Maybe I should just hope and pray to my Alejandro candlesticks that there will be a second leg.. I was going to go before I lost my car but I lost sooo much money because of that. Really in a bind.
