It's horrible how much ideals that are unrealistic- because simply unattainable to a majority of people- often **** us over. Being healthy should be the highest priority, but sadly that's not easy to live by when you already feel insecure about yourself and then maybe on top of that have to deal with judgemental airheads in real life.

Thanks sis! Yeah it's crazy - I legitimately thought without a doubt if I was skinnier I'd be more attractive (like somehow my face would change

), I could go to the beach/pool and yank off my top without a worry and life would be a breeze. Unfortunately my ribs started showing, my thighs got really sinewy looking and my wee belly remained - it was miserable! Ha. But now I realize that the myth of the perfect body really is just that, as much as we all lust after hot bodies we see I've never had a legitimate crush on anyone that was actually flawless. Nice to know that at least subconsciously I favor personality and individuals over some temporary good looks.
