They've already done that. They're changing 200 stores to halal-only, and leaving 1,000 with both meat choices available.

Are you aware of how mainstream meat is harvested? The animals have to watch all of their friends be slaughtered before them, which frightens the hell out of them. Halal is humane because the animals are shocked into unconsciousness before they are bled out, and none of the other animals witness the killing.

Okay, so Subway is responding to a demand from their consumers. They're changing 200 stores to Halal-only and leaving the other 1,000 as is. The vocal Muslims have shops that offer only Halal meats, and everyone else has 1,000 other shops to order pork and bacon. Sounds like everyone wins to me.
