If Subway wants to remove the meat from the menu then they should advertise themselves as a Muslim restaurant. At the moment they're advertising campaign in the UK says "you pick the sandwich, made your way, whatever you want on it you choose" etc, which is a little bit contradictory to what they're now actually offering. Just my opinion.

They're removing the meat from 200 out of their 1,200 UK restaurants. That leaves 1,000 restaurants that still serve non-halal pork and bacon, so I'm not understanding how it would be logical to advertise themselves as a Muslim restaurant. Could you clarify that a bit for me?

Not at all. The ones in the city (which i was referring to) already have too many ovens etc. It really wouldn't be costly, and also, if there's the demand for halal in that area then they'd actually be making more money. They'd be making money from Muslims who eat the halal meat, and the non-Muslim people who don't eat halal. No need to stop anyone getting served.

Well, if they got the money and are spending their coins at Subway and other establishments, businesses will do what they can to get more money from them. That's the fact of life.
If you want businesses to do what pleases you, spend your money at those places for what you want.

They just said that majority of UK eats pork - which is true, sausage is literally a part of a traditional English breakfast

Do you work at Subway? Have you done market research on this? Why should I trust that "JimmyMinaj" on ATRL has a better understanding of what would be profitable for Subway than the people who work at Subway and conducted the market research that led to making this decision?

Cured pork/Processed pork is VERY unhealthy though. But Pork is alright. It's a good source of protein and satfat.

Anyways, let Subway do it. It's THEIR store anyway. Eat some place else if you want but they are actually doing you guys a favor.
The disgusting thing about Bacon and Ham is not the high fat content but the VERY high Sodium content.
I think going Halal is a smart choice. If you want pork, then go to Wendy's or something.
