Yeah, last Friday it was #11, about to sneak in the Top 10 for the first time, and by Sunday it was down to #19.
And the weekend before that it had massive decreases as well, everyone was thinking it had peaked.
But does anyone have an idea why? Isn't it actually the kind of song to get played at parties a lot? You'd think more than Let It Go at least.
Or did that American Top 40 thing air and Fancy didn't make it?
Yea idk why but maybe it is peaking this time though there's no TV performances coming next week to get it back up! Idk if it played on that American Top 40 show either :/
I swear to god Joao, you need to get your optimism right! You really think she's about to peak when she's about to drop with a feature on the lead single of an artist with possibly one of the biggest fan-bases next to 1D/JB/Etc.??
Like that in itself is such huge promo, its perfect for her! They'll see she has two songs in the top 10 (Problem will go Top 10 by Monday) and be curious to buy the other one too.

Guys, I'm 99% sure she will make it to the American Top 40. Last week's #40 was Summer by Calvin Harris and on the daily countdown she's surpassed him. The daily countdown and the AT countdown use different formulas, but I think it's very possible she'll be #39 or #40 this week.

We'll find out later tonight or tomorrow morning.
Does that usually help digitally?
Don't forget we have Jimmy Kimmel Live on May 15th

It doesn't help a lot digitally, but it will do wonders for the airplay. It will get a slightly bigger increase the day after, but the real impact of the AT40 airplay is the adds we'll get in the next 2 weeks. A lot of stations will jump on the song when it's officially one of the 40 most successful songs in the country.
