Madonna's brand new single 'Run' is already featured in multiple commercials and advertisements already even though it's only been 2 days since the release of the single and here's an extra commercial in which it was featured. 'Run' appeared in Gucci's fragrance commercial for "Flora by Gucci 1966".
The 6 minutes long commercial was literally a love and murder story between a fierce girl on hot summer nights hooking up with boys and killing the ones she doesn't like.
A shortened and less explicit version of the commercial is being played all around the world on different channels.
Sky Ferreira released her first single from her long awaited upcoming album this morning as it hit iTunes with no warning. It wasn't until a fan noticed the song that word got out and people started downloading. Ferreira then took to twitter to tweet some coy things such as "I see you guys found the single. Enjoy!" Ferreira then tweeted a link to purchase the song as it flew up the iTunes chart, reaching a peak of #9 so far on the iTunes singles chart.
This is Ferreira's last single since her record breaking single 'Blonde Ambition' that has the biggest opening in history for a single. The song contained a feature from troubled popstar Paige Elliot who released her new single that contains her signature EDM sound, 'The Queen' last week.
'California Revelations' was produced by the production team of Snakehips, and was written by Ferreira's usual group of songwriters that includes Ferreira herself. The song's lyrics speak about the secrets of the industry and California itself, therefore pretty much giving the name of the song 'California Revelations'. Ferreira's voice sounds oddly at home on the urban-pop production which is quite a contrast to her previous pop and retro-rock sound she took on, on her past two albums 'Night Time, My Time' and 'Wild At Heart', both which were critically acclaimed. You can buy 'California Revelations' on iTunes now. The song will be serviced to pop and urban radio on April 27th.
