firsT of all, I never gave Katy slack for being generic, I actually like Katy's singles and a couple of songs off Prism
However, what I said is still true, some people don't like artists that only do safe pop music that follows the mold of what the GP likes to listen to EVERY SINGLE ERA....
Secondly, Beyonce has never been generic, Beyonce always comes with a new sound every era so you can have several seats and find a dictionary to find out what generic means
