I can see how it can be seen as corruption because radio used to be a platform to play and introduce all music but in the case of GUY it hasn't been given a real chance based on how it's already performing and not how it could perform, like Birthday or any other song tbh.

I like G.U.Y. but it's not a radio-friendly song at all, the production is good but the lyrics are unreleatable and only liked by her fanbase and diehard pop fans. No straight guy is going to be singing "I wanna be that GUY" but you would hear them singing "I'll make it like your birthday everyday". No shade, I'm simply showing the differences in the lyrical content which is really what it comes down to.
