But it is VERY real and it's kind of ******** that people dismiss it just because of idiots on Tumblr.

Not entirely. Yeah, she acted like an idiot but she was being handled very poorly for the type of artist she is. She isn't a pop star. She was never going to get a huge hit.

And cultural appropriation is not "Tumblr mess". It's made a mess by dumb people on Tumblr but it goes a lot farther than just being "mess" and dismissible. Get educated.

Music labels are businesses. If she didn't want to lose control, she should've stayed independent.

It's been pretty apparent that they don't want to push her album because she doesn't have a hit-ready song to push on it. They tried "Yung Rapunxel" and then "ATM Jam" off the Pharrell trend. Neither were "hits". Here we are.
