It's really, really not.
I've seen it negatively effect people, I've watched it happen and inflict harm on people.
Me, as a run-of-the-mill white guy, has never experienced the detrimental effects, though.
But it is VERY real and it's kind of ******** that people dismiss it just because of idiots on Tumblr.
The only reason Azealia isn't happening is because of stupid old white businessmen that don't know how to handle music that isn't generic Pop and hit-ready. That's partially ZeeZee's fault for penning her signature, obviously, but it's still very arguable that Azealia has the better quality music over Iggy.
The chorus is amazing shut up. It's perfect.
