I don't like when Gaga goes too deep into EDM and dance. She was able too keep a balance between dance and pop, no matter how dance the song was she was capable of making it sound like a pop song, don't know if you know what I mean. That's why I want her to work with Red One again, he is a hit maker, and they make magic together, he knows how to create hits and that's what she needs right now an irresistible smash and someone who can guide her. DJW is a terrible influence, he's like an edm hipster producer who does not care about number ones, but works with a pop star lol.

I don't disagree. I think this song would have done well as her lead or single single. Even though it sounds like something she's already done, it is good at captivating emotion. This is true.

The reason why I don't think Gaga is out of ideas is because Applause and GUY were great. Her performances haven't been awful either. She's obviously still got some creative juice in her. I just think ARTPOP was the result of Gaga and team trying too hard to comeback, and as a result fell into a trap of generic melodies more suitable for 2010.

I guess it all comes down to being able to relate to the album's content and mood. For me ARTPOP is much more enjoyable while the whole concept of BTW is very far from anything I went through in my life or what I'm interested in.

Having said that and previously that ARTPOP is her best album, imo, I don't want ACT II. It cannot happen.

Swine has tons of raw and powerful energy. Paul's EDM work kind of tears it down a whoooole lot though. If she kept it as a rock song with some EDM influences, it could have been compelling. At least it still is live.

I just can't relate to ARTPOP at all. Not its concepts, and certainly not its lyrics. I'm not hiding behind the aura, Venus isn't a powerful love song, GUY...I mean I don't even know, Sexxx Dreams actually yes

Born This Way had love songs, break up songs, and songs about ones identity - all more appealing than relating to critics, pop culture, and whatever pretentious lyrics vomited out on ARTPOP.

But I am glad you find the album relatable, somehow! What is it that speaks out to you about ARTPOP?

On the whole, ARTPOP is my favourite album by Gaga. Maybe it's because I've overplayed the others but I really think most songs on it are a masterpiece, I don't understand the hate it gets

Most of the songs are absolute BOPS, other than Fashion! which is the definition of a filler, I can even bop to Gagas part on Jewels & Drugs tbh
