Nope, not really. She said the album is too loud for her. During G.U.Y. (one of the absolute best for me) she was almost snoozing and after MANiCURE ended the "too loud"comment came. She kinda liked Artpop and Fashion! though.

Yeah but the thing is that BTW in REALITY wasn't a flop which in reality bionic and GL were so i'm going according to real flops comparing them to worst flops.

Hopefully we won't be in that situation If Act II does well we can consider it part of the ARTPOP era to save it, unlike TFM which could manage it's own era

I like ARTPOP a lot, too. It's nowhere near as flawed as people claim, but that's mostly sheep following the popular opinion. I think we're just spoilt and expect all Gaga albums to be next-level amazing.

I mean look at the standard of albums people stan for almost entirely because 1 or 2 smash singles sweetened pretty mediocre fillers.

Interesting. Sometimes I think "ARTPOP" (the song) should've been more visceral and dramatic, like the SwineFest performance, the song soars alive.

The album version is feels somewhat flat at times.

SwineFest really did slay me, I need to know who's responsible for watering the songs down so much, I pray it was DJWS and not Gaga

I remember when I was watching the iTunes Festival as it was being streamed, and when she started that speech, I started crying a bit because it hit me that the song I'd been waiting so long to hear was finally gonna grace my ears for the first time.

I still love it so much. Definitely in the top 3/5 of her discography.

I don't think anyone watered down the songs, it's just that they were live so the energy is bigger.
