Well. I don't know if they would
slay, but they deserved exposure. I know a few casual fans who only seemed to play HML - and on repeat - so I guess it resonated.
Maybe it should have gone like this:

Single #2 - The Edge of Glory

Single #3 - You & I (US) / Scheisse (WW)
Single #4 - Hair
It's a shame to miss out Marry The Night because I love it, but I feel Heavy Metal Lover would do a better job as a promo single considering MTN didn't do much. HML is great, but not 'outshining TEOG' great...so hopefully she'd have avoided the mess there.
