At least country radio still plays music from any of Luke's albums regardless of how long Luke took to release his music
|
Why should he be worried?
He already claimed that Invisible means so much to him. It's a personal song. His next singles will do well.
You are still acting like HH's career will end after Invisible.
His career will be okay after invisible. Let's Legend HH release his second album first which will come out on May 06.

Disagreed. Have you heard IIDY? One of the greatest country songs of the 21st century, tbh.

Luke Bryan's debut album sold 450k. Didn't even reach gold and no hit singles
This means?

But did HH's debut album really?

Are you saying Hunter is going to peak at #1 with Invisible and or outdo Luke Bryan even if his single hasn't reached the top 20 of Country Radio (its at #22)
Especially after his debut album did so well!
(this gives me sophomore slump teas tbh which, to remind you, Luke Bryan didn't have a sophomore slump album)
|
I didn't know "Invisible" was doing so well on radio. It's outside of the iTunes top 100 ("Drink a Beer" is higher) and I had to just look it up to hear it for the first time.
There was a Luke Bryan commercial before the video

Both are promising but it's clear Luke is way ahead. "Invisible" is flopping and it's Hunter's lead single, whereas Luke is scoring hit after hit.

We're the new stan war. Forget Britney vs. Christina, Beyonce vs. Rihanna, etc. Now it's Luke Bryan vs. Hunter Hayes.

Luke Bryan stans better step their games up. It's getting boring now cos you guys can't bring anything up to the table but Invisible. Is that the only thing you guys can use to drag Legend HH?
Edit: Oh, maybe Invisible is the only thing that can be dragged cos everything else is flawless.

Of course Legend HH!
His I want Crazy performance with Taylor was pretty amazing. Legend HH really knows how to put on an amazing show.
legend HH is a better live performer. The other one knows nothing beside from shakin his ass and wearing tight jeans to sell tickets for horny girls.

Wait I did some research:
HH: Hunter Hayes Released October 11, 2011
LB: I'll Stay Me Released August 14, 2007
HH: Storyline Released May 6, 2014
LB: Doin' My Thing Released October 6, 2009
Difference in release dates of album:
HH: By a Week: 2 years 8 months
LB: By A Week: 2 years 3 months
Why did Hunter take so long
Also I saw that Luke Bryan's second single off his debut album flopped but Hunter's debut single flopped as well.
Bie you better hope Hunter has a "Wanted" sitting on his album so he can remain relevant in country music

Well see what happens when "Personal songs" get released and despite how unconditionally the song means to the artist it underperforms. But this song is The Lead Single
His career won't end as a musician, but as a mainstream, top selling successful one, it can be something to worry about. However the truest tea of all, If Country Radio stops playing you, your country music career can be gone basically (See Leann Rimes & Dixie Chicks)

Well I guess below the top 20 on country radio isn't unsuccessful at all

Hunter looks like the kind of guy she'd date before he comes out of the closet. Luke looks better than HH all the time

Wasn't I just dragging Hunter ha first studio album? I believe he has five independent studio albums and 7 years of career on Luke
Plus, Luke hasn't had an album sell as little as HH's major-label debut since 2009. All of his albums this decade have sold more than Hunter Hayes's album this decade

I mean what else does Hunter really bring to the table. Like Legit?
At least with Luke you get to enjoy his show as he performs
Luke has had hit after hit after hit whereas Hunter is still inconsistent especially with all the buzz off of his debut album (when did Luke exactly have a single after Do I peak outside of the top 20 of the country airplay charts?)
And not to mention the amount Luke has been selling with his debut week and overall.
Lastly, wait Let me make this bigger for you to understand,
Thread: Poll: Future of Country Music: Hunter Hayes or Luke Bryan?
At least with Luke we can show he is a consistent-strong selling artist. With Hunter, with only a debut album and a flopping lead single off of his second album, his future is looking less successful (mainstream wise)

Wait, Bie, did Hunter Hayes's debut era have a re-release AND last 2+ years? No wonder it did so well.

1. What is with the span between first and second album? HH already found successful in his first era. Luke didn't. Should we still argue about this when the fact is in front of our eyes now?
2. HH's debut single
,Storming Warning, didn't flop. It just underperformed. It sold almost a million copies in the USA alone. Please do research again.
3. Legend HH should be worried that his songs are not being played a lot like before cos those singles were already old. Bie didn't expect radio to play them like they are new also.
4. When his second single from second album smashes, this thread is gonna be bumped big time. Hope you wont be afraid to come in.

LB has none.

Oh at this being the new OP
As if LB's debut LP stopped selling
Its on itunes too
Also:
Worldwide artist:
146 Luke Bryan
1381 Hunter Hayes
Oh and on US Itunes:
211. Luke Bryan - Country Girl (Shake It for Me)
485. Hunter Hayes - Wanted
So much for the live performances Hunter inspired. Luke will outsell Hunter eventually

It did but the album already sold aroun 800k when it got re-released. The era's longevity was amazing.
HH's debut album is still charting on BB200 in it 112th week.

1. I even quoted you saying "what took look so long to release his second album" and I put the facts right in your face. If you can't handle the facts, I'm sorry to hear that
2. Where are the numbers it hit 1 million copies?
3. Well Country Radio still plays Luke's songs from back to material Luke released in 2009.

If Hunter cannot outdo this album by the same amount of sales, if not double since he had a successful era before his new album (Luke Bryan apparently flopped with his first album), then I will do the bumping for you

How are his other albums doing in terms of longevity?
This one looks like a Cracker Barrel mega-seller I love that you find these funny, too.
T&T has mucho better longevity, tho. It's sold over 2.4 million in the U.S. & Canada, more than twice HH

The fact that you have ignored several upon several facts that Luke Bryan will withhold a longer future in country music (unless something unpredictable happens) then Hunter goes to show that you can't more past anything aside from opinionated thoughts on how Hunter outdoes Luke Bryan
All you, Bie, is helping me do is to increase my WPM pace because I already can tell Luke will withhold a longer future in Country Music

1. I said LB took so long to find success. That means he took two eras to score a hit single while legend HH took only one era to score 2 No.1 and some top 5.
2. I didn't say it hit 1M. I said its near 1M. (yes 750k+ is near 1M )
3. They still play HH's songs also. So?
4. We will see! :P
