I think we might be experiencing what happened 2008/2009. After that her voice seemed to be better than ever, and exactly the same thing happened before Duets. I'm sure she'll be fine by the end of the year.

Her voice has always had it's up and downs, but that was due to touring and finally learning how to mix properly. I think WIR was a step back from her Stronger and Greatest Hits vocals, but she still serves for the gods.

She was immensely sick during the WIR era. You really can't judge her vocals based on that.

The studio was what I was referring too though, she wasn't pregnant then. Her live vocals were on par with the studio to me, but the studio had weaker lows and thinner belts to me than before

I was impressed with her low register on WIR especially on White Christmas, since it's not her comfort zone.
But totally agree with the underwhelming thin belts towards the end of otherwise amazing songs like HYAMLC and JFN.

Her early live WDKY vocals are more laughable than her live WIR performances.
