Mariah has had RECENT hits.

Saying the general public couldn't name songs that were #1 hits less than 10 years ago is the only stretch.

Before joining ATRL I didn't even know Madonna had a career in the 90's. I had never heard of Ray of Light. I just knew that she was a major 80's star that embraced her sexuality and liked to be controversial. I also knew that her arms were really muscular and weird, nnn.
