The receipts are endless but she has 2 albums selling over 1 mil. on release and the AOTY win.
I'm not saying she hasn't sold well, but Taylor never feels like an event imo. Red was definitely a step up, and she had a moment with Fearless but to me she's just there with the others. She sells more but one could argue that she is at an advantage making country leaning pop songs that people are less fickle about supporting.
Britney has teen choice awards, Xtina has Grammy's there's all the acclaim you need to say Xtina is a more serious artist if we are taking numbers out of the equation.

She is literally just voice. Her body of work is far less behind Britney's.
Most of today's pop girls have never had a huge cultural moment. It pains me to say it, but Miley is the only one who's done it
Rihanna is consistent. She's constantly there, gliding through fads and still getting stuck in your head. I honestly don't know who to compare her to, her career is kind of strange
Honestly, she's like a mixture. Her career is going similarly to Janet's but there's a tiny mixture of Madonna to a lesser extent.

Miley's success is so overrated like lets not. Her sales are fair if anything.
The only reason she seemed larger than she actually was is because all of the media she was getting for her antics. Her hype didn't last for an entire year.
