I actually agree with your first sentence. Rihanna doesn't matter like the other girls. Taylor IS the first one not to matter though
Taylor is relatively local, so I don't expect you to get it but her power and impact is greater than ANYONE in the USA. I can't even think of any artist who has consistently slaughtered like her in all aspects since.....?

Bingo.
If one truly "matters" shouldn't their impact, significance be far reaching ?

Maybe it's just different perspectives, you're right.

Actually i would say out of the gene, Drake has made the most impact. YOLO alone is HUGE and is bigger than him tbh and that isn't even where it ends for him in cultural impact
Xtina ain't **** even with all those Grammys. I like her though.
Her oversinging aside people know she has talent though, people know that she is one of the best voices of her time. People think "britney use to be able to dance" but she wasn't even the best dancer of her time so ?
Katy had some grown up moments on PRISM like By The Grace of God, Spiritual and Double Rainbow.
Spiritual was specially good, but I don't know if that's bc John helped writting....
Most of today's pop girls have never had a huge cultural moment. It pains me to say it, but Miley is the only one who's done it
Rihanna is consistent. She's constantly there, gliding through fads and still getting stuck in your head. I honestly don't know who to compare her to, her career is kind of strange
