This isn't a thread about the song meaning, its about the future of country music. No one is going to remember this song except hunters fanbase pretty much (or judge hunters eloquent vocals at the Grammys )
But Luke has some time to stay big and relevant like Tim McGraw, when will Hunter?
You are acting like Hunter's career ends after Invisible.
Who needs 1 huge successful single when you could have several multi platinum singles and top selling albums. Luke Bryan has more platinum albums too, and Hunter barely scrapped 1 platim
Num album with a rerelease
Wanted is more iconic than anything Luke has done and will do.
Barely? It has sold 1.2M+ already. Luke didn't find success during his first era.
I've never seen anyone cover a Luke's song on any singing competition show while Hunter's songs has been covered a lot on Xfactor, The Voice and American Idol.

I like how your only crutch to hold over Luke Bryan being less then Hunter Hayes is by saying Hunter Hayes wanted sold more then any individual single that Luke Bryan has sold.
Tell me how one hit wonder artists feel when they have one song of theirs outsell the top pop girls top singles, and tell me how they feel when they cannot reciprocate the success of their top selling single.
And even if Luke didn't find top success in his first era, he got his first #1 country single on his second album. If Invisible cannot reciprocate wanted's success, can I say Hunter Haynes has peaked?
Also your other opinion about Hunter writing better music, that's also an opinion.

King Luke, ha numba 1 albums and 5M+ albums sold>>>>Hunter and his hit.

So you mean even with X-Factor, The Voice and American Idol promotion Hunter is still struggling to go 2x platinum?

I don't have to ask any one hot wonder. Hunter is not one of those.
And Why are you talking about peak when Hunter Hayes just had one era? His second one is just starting.

Are you talking Hunter Hayes debut album with a rerelease got Hunter barely over 1.2 million and apparently Hunter is the next music sensation, lol

Yeah, after having the biggest promo any musician can get, by performing his lead single at the Grammys, and it still can't get higher then #21 on the country charts. I'll give Hunter a few weeks to peak on that song soon

Not you really dragging a debut album that sold 1.2M copies in the USA
Not every song can smash after Grammy's performance!
Most of hits are about love, break
Up, ... Invisible is about bullying. Even Bie didnt expect him to smash at all.
His DEBUT album maybe is not reaching 2x but Wanted sold a lot which was Great result from those free promos.
See us Luke Bryan fans accepted Hunter has a top selling single over any other Luke Bryan song, but the question isn't about sales, its about the future of country music.
How is the success of one song back in 2012 proving Hunter Hayes has a bigger future then Luke Bryan in country music?
I'll wait

His debut album had a rerelease
And if you get grammy exposure, literally there shouldn't be any excuse why a song that was performed at the Grammys (besides a cover) is flopping

The Carly Rae Jepsen of Country
Are we even sure it's ever going to start at this point?

Poor Hunter. At least his biggest single, "Wanted" (3,476,000 copies), outsold Luke's "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)" (3,000,000). There's always that silver lining
