Kworb's chart is based on legitimate sources for overall market figures? Like all it is showing is what an album that had 5% (for example) of the overall market share would be selling in a given year versus another. Which is more fair as an accurate picture of impact/popularity, no?
And I disagree. The comparisons that people draw are typically between the biggest albums now vs. the biggest albums back then. Nobody is talking about how Warrior or some sht that barely charted would be going diamond back then cuz "every album" was doing it.
