Y'all remember how the when we got the first
ARTPOP promo picture, everyone was saying how futuristic and sleek it looked? I feel like that's how she should've kept the imagery for the first 2-3 months of the albums promotion.
The "Applause" video also should've been more colorful and lighter. More vivid scenes like the purple leg scene during the bridge. The VMAs could've stayed the same, but I would've loved if during the final chorus, she had her background dancers come out in outfits from her different videos (sort of like the Britney VMA tribute from 2011). The album cover should've been the first promo pic we got, and the booklet should've been mainly the Inez & Vinoodh promo pictures, like
this.
For the "Venus" era, I would've loved if she mainly wore the wig in the middle photo, while mixing all three fashion styles (glossy Greek styled clothing, white statuesque stuff, and the Seashell Bikini aesthetic). The video would feature the stills on the single covers, and would have Gaga swallowing a Beats Pill and going on an acid trip as she imagines herself as the Goddess of Love. Very pink/purple color scheme for most of it.
For "Do What U Want", which would've been launched as a single with an iconic Grammy performance, Gaga would have the curly blonde wig that she wore on the single cover. Her fashion style for the whole era would be like the clothes she wore during her performances on SNL and The Voice, very 70s disco diva inspired. The video would be
this concept that I had a few months ago.
I feel like if that happened, the GP probably wouldn't be sick of her public image tbh. When remembering her signature looks, the sleek "Applause" look with the brown wig would hopefully be the look most remembered.
