I guess all the critics and all the stars it influenced were lying then.
It has to be Rihanna. She has KILLER singles. Absolute KILLER. I own all her albums because of this but her albums are terrible. Really poor and full of filler.
Her music is just so... stupid. I can't imagine sitting through her entire discography without my brain melting into mush. The brain-dead lyrics, the saccharine vocals, the generic production - not to mention, outside her discography, the bottomless well of tacky she draws on for whatever she likes to call her ''visuals''. Mariah's entire career is basically an allegory for Americans getting dumber and fatter over time. Ew.
