I agree, but after she gets in Westeros there is only two ways to go from there - her sitting on the throne or dying. the first one would be predictable and the second one would be anti-climatic so idk what does Martin has in store for her

My thoughts on the premier:

LOVE Overyn and Ellaria. They introduced them perfectly. Perfect casting too. Absolutely slayed. Can't wait to see more of them.

Love Jon's increase in lines. His SOS storyline is by far his strongest so it'll be awesome to see on screen.

The way Cersei treats Jaime now is so heartbreaking. I love both characters and it just HURTS to see her hurt him And then that little **** Joffrey with the book... Urghhhhh!

Margaery and Olenna. Of course. Amazing as ever. I hope they don't replace the hairnet with that stupid necklace though. I would be pissed.

Sansa... The friends I was watching with (who haven't read the books) were like "she's so boring, she just sulks and prays!" and I just cackled at them. "I don't pray anymore..." was an epic line btw.

And then the ending with Arya and the hound.... YES. AMAZING. Maisie wasn't kidding when she said they were going darker than ever with Arya this season. I'm rooting for her so hard. Get your revenge! Oh man, and she slid that sword in so sloooow! She wanted him to hurt!

And my favorite moment of the episode:
"A lot of people name their swords."
"A lot of ****s."

I'm absolutely screaming in anticipation of the next ep. I hope they don't split IT into two eps. They can leave the Sansa bit for ep 3 but everything else needs to be contained in one epic package next Sunday.

OH. And I almost forgot: I love the new Daario. I have never ever liked any of Dany's potential suitors before (except Drogo obviously) but he really impressed me. Clever and charming.

She's too compassionate. I feel like she's going to end up falling for her latest city conquests/ex-slaves and rule those nations instead. Or maybe she'll go full brazen and try ruling the world.

I hate to be the guy who cries about changes from the book, but I really don't like the fact that Jaime and Brienne are in King's Landing right now; it completely undermines the reason why Cersei is mad at Jaime. It turns "You weren't there to help when our son died" into "You took too long to escape from prison." It exaggerates Cersei's pettiness in a way that doesn't add much to her character. At least in the books her aversion is reasonable.

There are also obvious changes that have been made to Brienne's quest to rescue Sansa. One of the main reasons that arc is so heartbreaking is because Brienne is trying to rescue a girl she has never seen and has only been given tidbits of information about. It's supposed to be a deconstruction of that "knight in shining armor goes to rescue the princess" cliche.

The premiere was great, though. That opening scene with Tywin actually gave me chills.

oh man.. i agree with both your points here..
the point about Jamie and Cercei was the only thing that bothered me really alot during the episode. her reasoning that "you took too long" is just stupid. i couldnt believe that they made that decicion, they could have atleast given her a better reason to be upset with Jamie.. like "you lost the thing that was hot about you when you lost that hand".. or something, albeit selfish and petty it would have atleast been a practical enough reason.

the brienne thing, man that never crossed my mind. i forgot that in the books Brienne never meets Sansa oh man this is really sucky! this thing is really bothering me now!!

I hope so, it's just really annoying that she doesn't even acknowledge them as individuals, they're just "the dragons" even though she treats them like her kids

Also, I'm really excited for the aftermath of the PW I hope they do a scene of Olenna "consoling" Margaery, but as they're talking you realise that Margaery was in on it all along, in the books (i don't think anyway) you don't know if margaery knew about it being planned or not
