It's not like she has two seperate fanbases. Her fanbase in general wants rap, the ones that stan for Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus too and don't have a good ear for good music want pop.

I'm kinda divided in this discussion. I mean, there are millions of Pop artists out there and you want to force Nicki Minaj to make Pop music? It's not like her Pop music is better than others. But yeah, on the other side we should respect people's opinions.

Chill. I said I wanted 2 dance songs ,1 pop song, and 2 crossover at the most. An average album of hers has like 20 songs, that's like 12 songs left for rap and 3 for R&B. I never said I didn't want rap, I want mostly rap. The reason I don't want her to abandon pop music completely is because she actually makes GOOD pop music. It isn't smart to alienate the pop fans she has. Yes, her rap music is a lot better; however, her pop music is better than 90% of the pop girls out there. All I'm saying is I want some pop music cause she makes good pop music and you're attacking me?

I'm the opposite of what you described tbh. I found her unappealing when was predominantly pop-centric. It was only now that she seems to be getting a little more raw that I became interested/intrigued. I watched The Re-Up DVD thing and I was like woah, shes an actual person. Never even bothered to think of her as anything other than annoying.

Obviously that makes me fickle as **** but at least I admit it. I went from hating her to liking her and thats probably the one thing I tend to hate most about pop stans and yet I did it lol whatever though. I feel like blaming this site for rubbing off on me buut probably not.
