One performance is all this song needs to smash. It's all up to her at this point. If she'd rather frolic at the beach it's no skin off my nose. She's just saying goodbye to one of the best songs of her career. Oh well 
 
One big difference between DiL and Partition is that DiL was in the teens before its Grammy performance. People were already interested in the song and I'm pretty sure it had less airplay than Partition does currently. For some reason, Drunk sounds even better on the radio while the removal of Yonce dilutes Partition. People clearly aren't connecting with it in the same way
