Madonna's only chance to match BLCKT sales is if her 3rd single becomes a huge hit. 'Give It 2 Me' seems to be doomed already. The video did nothing for it (for obvious reasons) and seems like she won't perform it, so...

Yep, just like we all predicted, GI2M is flopping in the US. I think both MA and BGO have hit potential, but I honestly think it would be a better idea to release BGO first. The reason is I think it will end up just like 4 Minutes did since it's a collaboration with Kanye, and anything with Kanye's name on it get's people attention.

IKR. The album is slowly growing on me. Up to loving "A Milli", so one track down.  Either way a lot were saying he'd be just like Kanye and would only sell 2 million, but with less than 500k to go and predictions still have him in the 3 digits, he'll surpass that easily.

Exactly. But, it's obvious people will be envious and make up anything they can to bring him down. He was suppose to drop like a rock yet he is still selling over 200k.

LMFAO at anyone being envious. As for me, a Britney fan, I'm not even envious of other Pop singers, let alone rappers.
Aside from the fact that he dropped the usual 70% on his second week - even if you were going crazy saying he would drop a lot less than that - the only things I said were: 1. I dislike his album & 2. I wondered if he was going to be the next Kanye, who had a pretty similar start. Is that a crime now?  Or am I forced to like something I don't just so you people won't call me 'envious'? LOL

Oh, no. The 1st time Some Hearts dropped out of top 100. WIth this consistency, SH can reach 6.5 mil in the next 4 weeks. But she needs abt 72 weeks after that to sell another 500k to match with the shipment of 7 mil. I don't see this will happen.
And CR needs abt 1 year to reach 3 mil mark if her sales is like that every week. Luckily she got more awards awaiting, more #1s that help to boost that 14k/week.

I read an article somewhere that SH has already sold over 7 million copies. Soundscan doesn't get sales stats from several retailers (i.e. Costco, Wal-mart, etc.) so it's very likely that she's sold several hundred thousand copies more. According to Billboard, Soundscan only accounts for a little over 80% of the sales market so Carrie has already lived up to her 7x platinum certification.

Awesome Here I Stand is closing in becoming Platinum in the US already. Very well deserved. It's already platinum worldwide though with 1.5 million. One more thing I'd like to mention G-Unit's album is going to be a FLOP! Hahahahahahahaha! L.A.X. will def sell more than 50 and his stupid group's bitch asses
