I don't think Gaga is going to ditch trying to do EDM though. Even though it comes off as sub-par all the time. I mean, she would rather use DJ leftovers than give up on EDM 
I really want her to do a stripped album, raw, minimal production, strong vocals, ugh this could slay so bad. The least she can do is give us that with her ****** EDM.

I think it is because of her performing the admittedly excellent and messy artRAVE instead of promoting the week of and getting work accomplished for her album. I think she sabotaged the success of this album because she wasn't happy. Whether puposefully or accidentally. Damage is done.

And regardless of what Gaga says, I know she wants to be a legend. I know she wants to be remembered. I just want her to have a long, healthy career. And I know she wants that as well. I'll remain a stan forever, even if she flops into oblivion (as long as she keeps delivering good music), but Gaga really needs to re-evaluate her career.

Idk she said the best most radio friendly designed to be hit songs made the album so either she has no idea what a hit sounds like or the other songs are just that bad

It would be cool if she did a double disc thing like I Am....Sasha Fierce, but have like 7 songs on each one. One being Pop/EDM, the other being raw/rock. 
I'd love if she did more with Rick Rubin, I love what he did with Dope.
Also, I was just listening to Something Crazy the other day and I love it

Yeah I could deal with that an album with songs like Captivated or Hollywood or Second Time Around.
Now thinking about it Second Time Around so could have been on ARTPOP

She can continue doing EDM, but I agree with Jay, more Swine type songs will kinda be zzz. Maybe 1-2 G.U.Ys, and an Applause and the rest some Rubin magic.
Edit: oh and a MANiCURE

Considering how much I love rock, singer-songwriter-esque music, the thought of a stripped back Gaga album gives me shivers  And Rick Rubin would be the perfect producer for this

True, and now she needs to do whatever else she needs to do with this era (possibly another another single and the tour, of course) and come back with some fresh music. Hopefully before or right in time for her space performance.

Really I'd just love a raw/rock/acoustic/Stefani Germonotta type of album with some sweeter, lighter vocals from her. I LOVE how she sounded on I Wanna Be With You, she sang with this sweet tone and she sounded so pretty. I also love how she sounds on her Red and Blue album.....I really want her to record more of her music like that, not with the dark tone she used on Dope and MANiCURE.

I agree, Swine-type songs need to go. Not here for that at all. Nor do I like her using leftover scrap productions like Donatella. 7-8 songs like G.U.Y. and MANiCURE, 7-8 songs like Dope and acoustic Gypsy I think could work.
Or a Gaga/Stefani idea would be brilliant too

YES at Captivated. I guess the best way to put what I'm trying to say is I want an album from her with predominantly live instrumentation, and some minor synth elements (similar to Dope).

Instead of doing art and pop, she should be doing pop and rock. Half pop (Gaga), half rock (Stefani). Damn, I wish I was Gaga because I would totally do this if I was her

The fact that the live iTunes Festival intro of Swine was miles better than the album version says a lot IMO. There's a rock chick inside her that needs to come out in full force
